Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has uncovered two substantial gold anomalies that extend beyond the previously known Halo zone at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property in central British Columbia, Canada. David Mark, P.Geo., provided detailed analysis of the MMI soil data covering an area of approximately 1.7 kilometers by 0.5 kilometers between Hixon Creek and Buckley Creek. The analysis revealed two primary gold anomalies with significant exploration potential.
The first anomaly, located at the eastern edge of the northern survey area, spans 240 meters northerly and at least 135 meters easterly. Its southernmost edge is positioned 260 meters north of a previous drill hole. The second anomaly is a more complex zone featuring gold, copper, and silver, along with additional trace elements including arsenic, cadmium, and zinc. This anomaly covers at least 200 meters northerly and 500 meters easterly, with potential for further expansion.
These discoveries are particularly noteworthy as they correlate with known gold mineralization from previous trenching and diamond drilling programs. The MMI soil sampling technique has proven invaluable in identifying these new potential targets within the property. Golden Cariboo plans to expand its trenching and drilling activities during the 2025 exploration season to investigate these promising northern zones.
