Fathom Nickel Discovers Expanded Mineralized Trend at Gochager Lake Project

Fathom Nickel Inc. announced preliminary results from its 2025 soil geochemistry program at the Gochager Lake project, revealing an expanded favorable geochemical footprint extending over 8.6 kilometers of strike length. CEO and VP Exploration Ian Fraser stated that these findings support the company's belief that the historic Gochager Lake deposit is part of a much larger mineralized trend with potential to host multiple magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide deposits. The expanded footprint represents significant growth from previous mapping and geochemical work that had confirmed the deposit host rock extended a minimum 3.5 kilometers to the east-northeast.

This substantial expansion to 8.6 kilometers suggests the mineralized system is more extensive than previously understood, potentially increasing the project's overall resource potential. Final rock assays from the fall prospecting program remain pending, with further updates to be released following data interpretation. The Gochager Lake Project is one of three high-quality exploration projects Fathom Nickel holds in Saskatchewan's prolific Trans Hudson Corridor. Previous exploration at Gochager Lake has confirmed vertical extension of nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization a minimum of 150 meters below the historic deposit's interpreted boundary, with very good potential for expansion in all directions.

The project also contains multiple high-grade vertically oriented nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide breccia mineralization zones and chutes that remain open for further expansion and delineation. Fathom Nickel's exploration strategy targets magmatic nickel sulphide discoveries to support North American critical minerals supply and the global green energy transition. The company's portfolio includes the Albert Lake Project, a 90,000+ hectare property hosting the historic Rottenstone Mine, where exploration has confirmed extension of high-grade mineralization and made new Rottenstone-like discoveries.

The third property, the Friesen Lake Project, covers 10,000+ hectares and hosts the Olsen copper-nickel-platinum showing, though Fathom has not yet performed exploration there.
